A 1940s basin, made to current standards
Carmen is a reissue rather than a pastiche. Roca went back to one of its most recognisable basins from the 1940s and rebuilt the shape around what a bathroom needs now, so the pedestal and the deep bowl look right in a Victorian or Edwardian house while the WC behind it is rimless and flushes on 4.5 litres. The brassware follows the same idea: cross-head and lever handles on the outside, ceramic cartridges inside. Add the 1300mm marble countertop over a base unit and you get the double-basin arrangement the period look usually can’t offer.
Like every Homematas bathroom it’s planned around your room, so the layout starts with your space and what you actually need from it, not a boxed suite.

What colours does Carmen come in?
Carmen comes in White ceramics, with the countertop in Venato White or Marquina Black marble. Those are the finishes the collection is made in, so there’s no colour matching on this one.
What handles work with Carmen?
Cross-head and lever tap handles, with a smooth-body mixer option. You’re not tied to what’s photographed though, we’ll go through the handle options with you at the design stage.
Is fitting included in the price?
Yes, our prices are supply and fit. Your quote is itemised for your room, so you can see exactly what you’re paying for.
Can I see Carmen before I commit?
Come into the Bamber Bridge showroom and we’ll show you the door, the finish and the nearest set-up we have to your plan. You’ll also see your own bathroom in 3D during your free design visit.
