The groove is what dates it right
A shaker frame on its own can look like anything from 1890 to last year. The pencil-line groove inside Chiltern’s frame is a period detail, and it is what makes the door read as proper joinery rather than a routed panel. The Contour finishes back that up: they are painted wood-effect, so there is a grain under the colour and the surface catches light the way painted timber does. Eleven shades, and the greens in particular — Heritage Green, Soft Green, Blue Sage — are the ones that suit an older house.

What colours does Chiltern come in?
Chiltern comes in 11 finishes — the Contour wood-effect palette from Porcelain and Cashmere through Blue Sage and Heritage Green to Carbon. Those are the finishes the collection is made in, so there’s no colour matching on this one.
What handles work with Chiltern?
Knobs, cup pulls and bar handles across the Calypso range. You’re not tied to what’s photographed though, we’ll go through the handle options with you at the design stage.
Is fitting included in the price?
Yes, our prices are supply and fit. Your quote is itemised for your room, so you can see exactly what you’re paying for.
Can I see Chiltern before I commit?
Come into the Bamber Bridge showroom and we’ll show you the door, the finish and the nearest set-up we have to your plan. You’ll also see your own bathroom in 3D during your free design visit.
