The brief
The customer wanted a Victorian-style tiled floor. That style is not supplied as sheets, so it has to be set out and laid tile by individual tile.
What we did
- Set out the diagonal pattern across the floor
- Laid each tile individually to the pattern
- Formed a three-tile border around the perimeter
The result
A stunning Victorian-style floor, laid over around four days. A very tricky technique, and a customer more than satisfied with the end result.
